Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how moar ("we," "our," or "us") handles information when you use our Chrome extension and related services (collectively, the "Service").

moar is available in two tiers: moar (free), which provides full document optimization, and moar Most (paid), which adds Smart Select and Intelligent Chunking. This policy covers both tiers.

moar is built with privacy as a core principle. We believe your documents, your work, and your data should remain private and under your control.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Let's start with what we don't collect:

• Your documents: We never upload, store, or transmit the content of files you optimize with moar to our servers.
• Document metadata: We don't collect filenames, file types, file sizes, or any information about what you're processing.
• Usage analytics: We don't track what features you use, how often you use moar, or what time of day you process documents.
• Browsing history: We don't track which websites you visit or what you do in your browser.

How moar Works

moar processes documents entirely locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Here's what happens when you optimize a document:

1. You upload a document through the moar extension
2. The document is processed using browser-native JavaScript libraries
3. The optimized version is created on your device
4. You copy or download the optimized document
5. Everything happens on your computer — nothing is sent to our servers

You can verify this yourself: Open Chrome DevTools (press F12), go to the Network tab, and use moar's core optimization features. You'll see zero network requests to moar servers — because document processing happens locally.

Smart Select and Third-Party AI Platforms (moar Most)

Smart Select is a moar Most feature that uses your existing AI platform (such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or others) to extract the most relevant sections of a document based on your query.

When you use Smart Select:

• moar sends portions of your document content to the AI platform you have chosen and are actively signed into
• This happens only when you explicitly initiate a Smart Select query — never automatically or in the background
• The data is sent directly from your browser to your AI platform — it does not pass through moar's servers
• moar does not store, log, or have access to the content sent to your AI platform

Important: Once your document content reaches your AI platform, it is subject to that platform's privacy policy and terms of service — not ours. We recommend reviewing the privacy practices of whichever AI platform you use with Smart Select. moar does not control how third-party AI platforms process, store, or use data you send to them.

Purchase Information (moar Most)

If you purchase moar Most, the transaction is processed by our payment partner, LemonSqueezy (lemonsqueezy.com).

• What LemonSqueezy collects: Your name, email address, and payment information (credit card or other payment method) are collected directly by LemonSqueezy to process your purchase
• What we receive from LemonSqueezy: We receive your email address and license key information for the purpose of delivering and activating your moar Most license
• What we do NOT receive: We never see or store your credit card number, billing address, or full payment details

LemonSqueezy's handling of your payment data is governed by their Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review it.

Local Storage

moar uses your browser's local storage to:

• Store your optimization history: Keep track of documents you've optimized so you can easily access them again
• Remember your preferences: Save settings like theme preferences or default options
• Cache processing data: Improve performance by storing temporary processing information
• Store your license status: Remember your moar Most activation locally

All of this data is stored locally on your device. It never leaves your computer, and we never have access to it. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings or the moar extension settings.

Chrome Extension Permissions

moar requests only the minimum permissions necessary:

• Storage: To save your optimization history, preferences, and license status locally on your device
• Side Panel: To display the moar interface alongside your browser
• Active Tab: To enable Smart Select to interact with your active AI platform tab when you initiate a query
• Scripting: To facilitate Smart Select's communication with your AI platform

We do not use these permissions to monitor your browsing, read pages you haven't explicitly interacted with through moar, or collect any data.

Third-Party Services

moar's core document processing does not share data with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

The two exceptions are:

• Smart Select (moar Most): When you explicitly initiate a query, document content is sent to your chosen AI platform. See the "Smart Select" section above for details.
• LemonSqueezy (purchases): If you purchase moar Most, your payment is processed by LemonSqueezy. See the "Purchase Information" section above for details.

We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking services of any kind.

Data Security

Because all document processing happens locally on your device:

• Your documents are not stored on or transmitted to our servers
• There are no moar servers to be hacked or breached
• Your data is protected by your device's own security measures
• You maintain complete control over your information

Children's Privacy

moar is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used moar, please contact us.

International Users

Because moar processes documents locally on your device, your data does not cross international borders via our servers. Note that if you use Smart Select, document content is sent to your AI platform, which may process data in different jurisdictions according to their own policies.

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: All your data is stored locally and accessible to you at any time
• Deletion: You can delete all moar data by clearing your browser's local storage or uninstalling the extension
• Portability: Your optimization history is stored in standard formats you can export
• Control: You decide what documents to process, when, and whether to use Smart Select
• Purchase data: To request deletion of purchase data held by LemonSqueezy, contact support@getmoar.ai

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, for significant changes, displaying a notification in the moar extension.
